A quilt készítésénél az inspirált, hogy olyan technikát alkalmazzak, amelynél fel tudom használni Édesanyám által készített csipkéket. Igy a drezdai tányért választottam. Ugy gondolom, hogy
ezzel a kombinálással méltó módon megőrzöm ezeket a horgolásokat, akárcsak egy korábbi munkámban .
I was inspired making the quilt to use my mother's laces. So I chose the Dresden plate. I think with this combination I will keep my mother's work, as in my
earlier quilt
Thank you Amy for hosting this festival again!
What a unique color pallette. It reminds me of those round hard candy which looks like candy cane.
VálaszTörlésdresden plate is such a wonderful design and you've done it so nicely. thanks for sharing and have a great day!
VálaszTörlésjust realized the lace work in the middle when i enlarged it--fantastic!!!!!!!!!! so beautiful--your mother's lace is such a sweet and marvelous addition. clever idea to use them that way

VálaszTörlésWow, what an amazing way to use such beautiful lace!
VálaszTörlésHi Lonci,
VálaszTörlésYour quilt intuitively chooses the very best way to showcase your mother's laces. I have a book on lacemaking: did she do bobbin lace, or needleweaving? Wow! Now you can have them out in the open, on display instead of tucked inside a drawer.
Thanks, too, for commenting on my Blogger's Quilt Festival entry, on my blog Artelicious.
Hugs,
Tina in San Diego
PS: I have been to Hungary: it is fab!
